We offer the opportunity for you to see behind the scenes for a view of the work of a ‘vigneron’. You can visit the cellar, taste wine directly from the vat and develop a better understanding of how we make them. We invite you to discover our vineyards and olive grove where you can enjoy a memorable vineyard’s lunch. Please contact us for more information.
You are always welcome to come by and visit our domaine and our shop. We are happy to answer any questions about our wines and our other products such as our olive oil and olives from our own olive grove. You will find more regional products in the “Caveau” such as handmade soaps and homemade jams as well as pricewinning cookies from our local bakery.
From May – October: Monday to Saturday from 9 h to 18 h; closed on Sundays
November – May: Monday to Friday from 9 h to 17 h.
We will welcome you in our wine tasting room and will give you a little introduction to Château Canet. The visit then takes you on a tour of our cellar where not only will you learn about the art of wine making but also about wine blending and the Minervois appellation. On this visit you will have the opportunity to taste the Minervois blend directly from a vat in the cellar. The visit includes a commentated tasting of 5 different wines. Back to our wine tasting room, you will finish the tour with an olive tasting. We have nearly 1000 olive trees here at Canet, from which are produced black and green tapenade, olive oil, and, of course, the famous Lucques eating olives which grow only in the Languedoc region.
The visit lasts approximately 1 hour and costs 18€ pp
